Kate Daniels Art - Watercolour Painting Competition
Many of the wonderful paintings that you can see on this site were painted by Kate as Competition "winners" from competitions run on facebook over the past few years.
Due to popular demand, this concept will be continued and run in conjunction with this website.
The format will be changed slightly, but the basics will remain the same. Participants will be allowed to submit photos of their pets, but instead of a panel of judges deciding on the winners, this will be done by public vote the Kate Daniels Art facebook page.
Each time you make a purchase from this site you will be awarded one free entry into the current competition. Each competition will run for a predefined period - either one month, or during holiday periods two month. Each card purchased allows one photo to be entered into the competition (so, for example, if you purchase 5 cards then you may enter 5 photos). Your entry is only for the current competition, and when a new competition starts all previous entries will be lost, and a new set of entries will be started. You may of course re-enter your photo into the next competition. You may also specify at time of entry that your entries are split across 2 competitions - ie you purchase 6 cards and specify that your entries of 3 photos will run across 2 competitions. If you are successful in the first competition the winning entry but not the others will of course be deleted from the second competition.
The winner will receive an original Kate Daniels A4 sized watercolor painting of their wining entry.
More questions and rules can be found on the FAQ page of this website.
In some cases merchandise will be available either on this site or from other outlets making the design available on mugs, cards etc.
Please note that you may only submit photos which you have the copyright over, and that although you will receive the original of the painting the copyright of the painting remains with the artist (Kate Daniels) and may be used for the production of cards, posters, or various forms of merchandise including but not limited to mugs, mouse-mats etc...
